A 2006 Resolutiuon for Canucktions

We believe in community service. And you and me both have to take action with a matter of great importance. Many of our neighbours south of the 49th parallel have commented on the cleanliness of our cities here in Canada. But have you taken a walk around your block lately. Beautiful site to behold, eh? We need year-round support - community services. Help to clean up your community. All it takes is a garden glove, a garbage bag and an effort to walk around the block. Do this regular-like and it could turn into a nice little work-out to stay fit! We at Canucktions challenge you to pick up one piece of garbage in your neighbourhood and deposit it in the closest garbage can. Do this once per week and Resolution Accomplished!

Garbage Heaven Alert!

The span of a few blocks between the Library / Fire Hall and Trucker's Super Drug Mart is a mess! We'd almost suggest a rake (before it snows again). Anyone up for the challlenge? This is at about the 3300 - 3600 block of 14 Street SW in Calgary.
